THE ORIGIN OF SANDARA
A familiar situation? You are in a restaurant with a group of friends and the waiter brings you the wine list, you start sweating at the horror of having to select a wine when you have no idea what the difference is between “Halbtrocken” and “Fermentacion en Barrica”! So, you pass the wine list to your nearest and most brave friend, who, with a flash of confidence, selects the first on the list, declaring “this one´s good, you´ll see”.
Only the knowledge of more than 130 years has led Bodegas Vicente Gandía to be the best European winery, but one day we felt that it was not enough. We had to find something extraordinary, a way to communicate with a large audience distanced from the traditional world of wine. That day resulted in Sandara, a drink to enjoy any sparkling occasion without complexity.
