The excellent geographical location and the warm climate make D.O. Valencia an excellent place for red wines –which boast the most intense color from the Eastern part of Spain. But not only reds are the 'stars': rosé wines, sweet whites, sparkling are also produced in the four subzones of the region (Alto Turia, Valentino, Clariano and Moscatel de Valencia) Traditionally used to make desert white wines, Moscatel de Alejandria gives its best expression when cultivated in the area. Moscatel wines are sweet, finely aromatic, with a distinct personality; they are also appreciated as a blender in dry and sparkling wines.
