Possibly the wine region of Spain with more hours of sunshine annually and one of the first capitals of wine in the Iberian Peninsula, thanks to the excellent yield of its vineyards and its seaport. Varieties like Chardonnay, Shiraz and the native Monastrell have a particular maturity in this area providing young wines with great freshness and very aromatic.
